Teaching Practice Phase 1 Weekly Report -9

Week 9 (15-01-23 to 19-01-23)

This week marked the conclusion of the teaching practice phase 1, and it was filled with a myriad of enriching activities.

Upon returning from a brief leave, I jumped back into the school routine and was greeted by the invigorating morning assembly, which set a positive tone for the day. One of the significant events of this week was the conscientization program on population explosion that I had the privilege to conduct. It was an enlightening experience to engage with the students on such a crucial societal issue and foster critical thinking.

In line with promoting values, I organized a value education activity where the students participated in cleaning their classrooms, emphasizing the value of responsibility. This practical approach to instilling values was met with enthusiasm and served as a powerful lesson for the students.

Furthermore, I conducted two invigorating physical education classes, introducing the students to trilokasana and virabhadhrasana. Witnessing their enthusiasm and dedication to learning these yoga poses was truly gratifying.

As I bid farewell to this phase of my teaching practice, I took the opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to every teacher and student for their unwavering cooperation, love, and support. Their encouragement has been instrumental in shaping my journey as an aspiring educator.

The conclusion of phase 1 marks a pivotal milestone in my training, and I am eager to embark on the next phase with renewed zeal and determination. Thank you for accompanying me on this transformative journey, and I look forward to sharing more updates as I continue to evolve as an educator.

Teaching Practice Phase 1 Weekly Report - 8

Week 8 (08-01-24 to 12-01-23)

After a rejuvenating vacation, I reconnected with the school community and embarked on a week filled with diverse activities.

Following the vacation, I re-entered the school environment with renewed energy and enthusiasm. It was heartening to witness the students' excitement and eagerness to resume their academic pursuits.

During this week, I took a brief leave to attend to personal commitments. However, I also had the opportunity to conduct an achievement test for Class 9D, which provided valuable insights into their academic progress and helped me tailor my teaching strategies to better meet their needs.

A significant event during this week was the visit of a faculty member from our college for a school observation. This visit not only allowed me to receive constructive feedback on my teaching methods but also provided an opportunity for collaborative discussions on effective pedagogical approaches.

Additionally, the week included a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting, where I had the chance to engage with parents and discuss their children's progress and well-being. The meeting was an enriching platform for open communication and collaboration between educators and parents.

Teaching Practice Phase 1 Weekly Report- 6

 Sixth week (27-11-23 to 01-12-23)

I am thrilled to share my experiences from the sixth week of my B.Ed training. It was a week filled with unexpected surprises and significant events that left a lasting impact on my journey as an educator.

One of the most nerve-wracking yet enlightening experiences of the week was the unannounced observation by my college mentor, Jijan Sir. His unexpected presence in the classroom added an element of excitement and tension, but it also provided me with a valuable opportunity to showcase my teaching skills and receive constructive feedback for professional growth.

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the exhilarating news of our school winning the overall championship trophy at the District School Kalolsav. The sense of pride and excitement that reverberated throughout the school was truly heartwarming, and it served as a reminder of the collective efforts and talents of our students and staff.

I had the opportunity to conduct a sociometry activity in the 9 D class, asking students to identify the most reliable person in the class. The activity not only fostered a sense of community and trust among students but also provided valuable insights into their perceptions and interpersonal dynamics.

Another enriching experience during the week was attending a class arranged by B.Ed trainees from another college. Titled "Peace of Mind Initiative," the session focused on child rights and mental health awareness. The class provided a thought-provoking perspective on the holistic well-being of students and reinforced the significance of addressing mental health in educational settings.

I am excited to share my experiences from the fifth week of my B.Ed training at Govt. HSS School, Kalanjoor. Although I had to take a leave this week due to personal reasons, it was an eventful period with some significant highlights.

During my class, my peers had the opportunity to observe my class. I am looking forward to their valuable feedback and insights, which will undoubtedly contribute to my professional growth as an educator.

Upon my return, I conducted a remedial class focusing on punctuation marks based on the results of a diagnostic test. The session aimed to address the specific needs of students and reinforce their understanding of punctuation rules. It was rewarding to see the students actively engaging in the session and making progress in this area.

One of the most fulfilling experiences during the week was the opportunity to take a class on nutrition and healthy eating habits as part of health education. Punctuation pocket

Punctuation is a crucial aspect of writing that can significantly impact the clarity and effectiveness of communication. I took a class on punctuation marks following the Direct Instruction Model of teaching on 22nd November 2023. The class was also my remedial class as I found the students suffer a lot in this topic. To enhance students understanding and. application of punctuation rule, the punctuation pocket was given as a group activity.
Each groups were asked to punctuate the sentences provide to them correctly. After punctuating the sentences, they have to place the sentences in the correct pocket. The group which makes maximum correct answers in less time wins the activity.

I am thrilled to share my experiences from the fourth week of my B.Ed training. The week, from November 13 to November 17, was a period filled with diverse activities and events, making it a truly enriching experience.

The week was abuzz with preparations for the upcoming Kalolsav (school arts festival). Students and teachers alike were deeply engrossed in fine-tuning their performances and presentations for the event. It was inspiring to witness the dedication and enthusiasm displayed by the participants as they honed their skills in various art forms.

On November 15th, the school organized a special assembly in celebration of Children's Day. The event was marked by a joyous and vibrant atmosphere as the students were treated to a range of engaging activities and performances. It was heartwarming to see the school community come together to honor and cherish the spirit of childhood.

As part of the school's commitment to holistic education, an anti-drug awareness class was conducted during the week. It was gratifying to witness the students actively engaging in discussions and gaining valuable insights on this crucial topic.

The school observed a "dry day" during the week, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. This was accompanied by a collective effort to clean the classrooms and school surroundings. The spirit of teamwork and responsibility displayed by the students during this activity was truly commendable.

One of the most exciting experiences during the week was the opportunity to serve food to the students during the lunch break. Teaching Practice Phase 1 Weekly Report-3

Third week (08-11-23- 10-11-23)

I am thrilled to share my experiences from the third week of my B.Ed training. The week, from November 8 to November 10, was a period of rejoining the school after a break, conducting diagnostic tests, and embarking on a new chapter with my students.
After a brief break, rejoining the school brought a sense of renewed energy and excitement. It took some time to readjust and get back into the rhythm of the school routine. However, the warm welcome from both the students and the faculty made the transition back into school life much smoother.

One of the significant highlights of the week was commencing a new chapter with my class. Introducing fresh topics and concepts to the students was an invigorating experience. It allowed me to witness their eagerness to learn and their curiosity about the new material. Planning and delivering engaging lessons for this new chapter was a fulfilling challenge that allowed me to explore different teaching strategies and methods.

Conducting diagnostic tests for the students provided valuable insights into their existing knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. It was an enlightening experience to observe the diverse levels of comprehension among the students. The diagnostic tests not only helped in gauging their current academic standing but also provided me with a deeper understanding of their individual learning needs. This experience emphasized the importance of personalized learning and catering to the unique requirements of each student.
